A Light-Tasting, Healthy, Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Healthy Recipes - Smoothies

Sorry I did not post this until night time, but I am here now. Today I am here to show you my favorite smoothie that I had for lunch today. We don't measure everything, but here is the recipe (the measurements are just estimates):

This is not my smoothie, but I had forgotten to take a picture earlier today. This is similar though.

Food Needed:
  • 1 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon of flax seed
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of frozen fruit (listed below)
  • 1 cup of kale
Frozen Fruit used:
  • The bag contained all organic strawberries, cherries, pomegranate, and blueberries which gives this smoothie a light taste.
How to Make This:
  1. Put the soy milk, banana, fruit, and cinnamon in the blender and blend it.
  2. Then add the flax seed and kale and blend again.

It is as simple as that! For our blender we cannot just throw everything in at once, but it really depends on what blender you have. And like I first said, we don't measure anything so those were just our estimates. This smoothie has a light taste while still being fulling and plenty tasty. Also make sure you use frozen fruit because it makes the smoothie cold which makes it taste better in my opinion. I will share more recipes later on, but tomorrow I will post about something else so be ready!
