Minecraft Monday - UCC pictures, server info and... rules?

 Minecraft Monday is Today!

I return once again on just a random Monday, or is it? Well, if you thought this was just some normal Monday, then you were mistaken. Yesterday I made an announcement saying that every Monday I would post about Minecraft giving it the name Minecraft Monday.Well, here is the first post for Minecraft Monday, so enjoy!

I really should have already talked about UCC but I have not. Well, UCC is a Minecraft Server I play for kids from about seven (I am not sure for the exact age) to eighteen. To join you have to be white listed, but it does not take long to be accepted. Update: Here is the link to the UCC Website: UCC Website. Now you might wonder, What does UCC even stand for? Well even if you did not ask that, I will still tell you. UCC means Unschoolers Creative City. The server is a multi-world one with City (where you spawn at), Flatland, Housing (all modern), the End, the Nether, Plot World, Survival World (No raiding allowed), Snowy Land, Historic UCC, and Urban City. The server is only for Unschoolers, but everyone is nice on there (Well... almost everyone).

UCC has over 2 thousand kids white listed but I have never seen more than 15 people on at a time unless it is a UCC Party. One thing I like is that UCC also has Survival Games. They used to have Spleef/Spleeg but it has been down for a while. Most of the kids on there are ten years old or younger, but there are a few older kids. The rules are really simple: No hacking, no griefing, no using potions or hacked items (such as the God Sword), no swearing, don't spawn too many mobs, no spamming, no advertising, and I think Only talk about things appropriate for all ages is a rule too. There could be other ones, but those are the rules I remembered. Just to shorten it all: Be nice.

What is the point of explaining rules? Let's see... no particular reason. I might as well get onto the good stuff such as the pictures before you get bored out of your mind. Remember - if you read my last post - how I signed off? I said today you would not be bored, so I plan to keep it that way. Just read ahead and watch as your mind gets blown away (probably not).

Well, the rest of this post is going to be about the pictures. The one to the left is of something in the City. The building is actually way bigger than what is shown in the picture, but that is the basic idea. Nice right? Well it is really cool on the inside too. And there is stuff up on the roof too.

Okay, now do you see that peach-colored house? That is one of the many houses in the Housing world. Once all the types are made, there will be 17 different designs and
over 300 houses so there will be lots of homes to choose from. The peach-colored house is on the smaller end in the Housing world but it has plenty of rooms and even a garage. Katie and I shared one before but we sold it to another player to get a bigger home just like the mansion below this paragraph on the left.

Like it? You should see the backyard and inside! The yard itself has a maze (I think that is what it is), a picnic area, a giant swimming pool, a hot tub, trees, and enough space for multiple homes. This is the type of house Katie and I got, but then I moved to another one of the same style after I gave away one of my smaller homes. Then I decided the place was just way too big so I gave the whole mansion away to a player for free. After that I just decided to stick with the homes I already owned because I am not a role player so I don't need a bunch of space. Then Katie lost her mansion... Anyways, moving on.

I just wanted to show you how tall some of the buildings can get. See that skyscraper? It probably reaches the height limit because I could not even see the ground when I took the screenshot. Like the first building I showed, this one has stuff on the roof too. I think this building is a Hotel, but I did not read the signs. So those are just four different buildings in UCC, all different sizes and colors. What one do you like best? The long, black wool one in the first picture? The peach-colored home in the second? The giant mansion in the third? Or the black skyscraper?

My favorite is probably the peach-colored one because it is not so big I have ten rooms but not so small where I have to put things in the walls, ceilings, and ground and where my room only has 2 blocks of walking space. My second favorite? The black wool one, but I would never live in it. I just like the design. The skyscraper would only be cool if you would not have to walk up tiny twisting stairs the whole time. And the mansion is just too big for me, but Katie would pick that one for Role Playing. I will be signing off here, but before I leave, I have one last thing to say - be prepared for next week's Minecraft Monday!
